“I want to say a huge thank you to Ancre Somme Association for raising such an amazing amount for our appeal. It will go a long way in helping NHS charities to support NHS staff and volunteers working at the sharp end of this Covid crisis.”

Tumong Edwards, Community and Events Fundraiser, Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation “Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation, the official charity of NHS Lothian is a member of NHS Charities Together and we are delighted that these funds will benefit all members across the UK to make a difference to NHS patients and staff.  The response from groups like Ancre Somme Association Scotland and those who joined their fundraising campaign with an array of activities has been really heartening to our teams and will help ensure they can do more to support those in need.”

“The NHS had to adapt to change very quickly, processes and procedures were put into place to keep staff and patients save during this pandemic”
